My client based in Greater Manager work within the telecoms space, with particular focus on hosted telecoms.

They are looking to grow the team further, with the addition of a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager must be based in Greater Manchester- but you are able to cover theWHOLEof the UK.

EXTENSIVE TRAVEL WILL BE REQUIRED WITH THIS ROLE- THIS ROLE IS AN EXTERNAL/FIELD BASED ROLE

As a Business Development Manager your role will include:

- Lead Sourcing: You will be responsible for sourcing your own leads, booking your own sales appointments, and selling to businesses across the uk

- You will have access to a CRM with strong data, aloing with some warm leads but you will absolutely need to be a self starter, with a true passion for new business

- Attending Sales Meetings: You will be required to attend sales meetings each week. During these meetings you will gather information about the business and then demonstrate the company's offering to your potential client- the majority of these meetings will be held face to face


- Managing a Sales Pipeline: You will be required to maintain an up-to-date CRM system, to ensure that you are generating enough leads and sitting enough appointments to achieve your monthly GP target


- Building Proposals: You will make use of marketing material/documentation/inhouse resources etc to compile your own sales proposals to present to prospective clients


- Forecasting/Meeting Sales Targets: You be responsible for meeting monthly/quarterly GP targets and will be required to accurately forecast your expected GP on a monthly basis


- Negotiation: You will possess a good level of commercial acumen and a proven ability to negotiate and close sales

In return for the above you will receive:

35-50k basic dependant on experience/provien track record

Company car or car allowance (600 per month)

Unrivalled, uncapped comms scheme of between 20-25% of GP

Flexibility to work from home when booking your appointments (although some office working is preferred by the client)
