Overview:An established manufacturer in the technical products sector is looking for a Sales Engineer to cover key industrial and manufacturing regions across the North of England and Scotland.

This is a field-based role focused on developing new business and supporting existing customers with technical product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow accounts across the North West of England and Scotland.
  • Support customers and distributors with technical advice and application guidance
  • Respond to product enquiries and provide hands-on support where needed
  • Conduct customer visits and deliver product demonstrations and training
  • Handle complaint investigations and provide follow-up support
  • Track sales leads and opportunities through to conversion
  • Support exhibitions and product promotions when required
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms

Requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally with a technical or engineered product
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend practical solutions
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based territory
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
