Job Overview
We're looking for a Finance Administrator to support Sales and Purchase Ledger teams, Credit Control, and Management Account functions. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent university graduate, or A-Level graduate, who is looking to pursue a career in finance. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and raise sales invoices and credit notes.
- Monitor and chase client contract documentation.
- Process supplier invoices and manage payments.
- Maintain spreadsheet information for Finance use.
- Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams or clients.
- Post cash daily and allocate it to ledger accounts.
- Chase outstanding debts via email and telephone.
- Assist with the payments team email inbox, responding to queries from clients.
- Assist with month-end financial tasks.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Confident with strong communication skills; experience dealing with customers is ideal.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines.
- An excellent eye for detail is essential for this role.
- Enthusiastic with a good work ethic.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
