Job Overview

We're looking for a Finance Administrator to support Sales and Purchase Ledger teams, Credit Control, and Management Account functions. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent university graduate, or A-Level graduate, who is looking to pursue a career in finance. You will be joining a fast-growing company that values internal growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and raise sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Monitor and chase client contract documentation.
  • Process supplier invoices and manage payments.
  • Maintain spreadsheet information for Finance use.
  • Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams or clients.
  • Post cash daily and allocate it to ledger accounts.
  • Chase outstanding debts via email and telephone.
  • Assist with the payments team email inbox, responding to queries from clients.
  • Assist with month-end financial tasks.

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Confident with strong communication skills; experience dealing with customers is ideal.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • An excellent eye for detail is essential for this role.
  • Enthusiastic with a good work ethic.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
