Due to continued growth, my client has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join their business in Greater Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and highly organised individual to join the Finance team, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills and who can hit the ground running.
Key tasks will include:
- You will be part of the friendly finance team handling all aspects of sales ledger ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Posting and allocating customer payments and reconciling unallocated payments
- Responsible for sales ledger administration; chasing payments, sending invoices, dealing with account queries,
- Updating and maintaining all account query information using Excel.
- Using Sage 200 to investigate account queries and allocation of receipts onto Sage 200.
- Using EDI system to process orders coming in and invoices going out.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving customer queries promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring all customer credit limits are insured and performing appropriate due diligence on all new accounts
- Reconciliation of the sales ledger control account on a monthly basis
Key skills & experience required:
- You’ll need to be proficient and confident in Sage 200 and Excel.
- Great experience in managing sales ledgers. You’ll love getting involved in all aspects.
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills. Able to prioritise workload across multiple tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Ideally with manufacturing/stock experience.
- First class communication skills, able to work cross functionally and build key relationships across departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail. You will have a relentless focus on 'right first time’.
- Happy to work independently, as well as with the team when required.
- Fantastic problem-solving skills would be an added bonus!
- Driving licence - occasional requirement to travel to the other offices
