Job Title: Teacher of English - Alternative Provision
Equitas are seeking a passionate and resilient Teacher of English to join a co-educational alternative provision school, supporting students across KS3-KS4 in small class sizes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact, helping students who may not thrive in mainstream education to reach their full potential.
The Role:- Deliver engaging and tailored English lessons to KS3-KS4 students
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Work closely with a small class size to provide focused support
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop individual learning plans
- Experience teaching English at KS3-KS4
- QTS is ideal but not essential - we welcome applications from experienced educators and strong unqualified teachers
- A patient and adaptable approach to working with students with additional needs
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of young learners
- Small class sizes allowing for a more tailored teaching approach
