As Head of Maths, you will:

• Lead the development and delivery of a high-quality Maths curriculum, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
• Manage and inspire a team of Maths teachers, supporting their professional growth and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Implement strategies to raise attainment, ensuring that Maths is an exciting and engaging subject for all students.
• Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school improvement and student well-being.

• Qualified teacher status with substantial experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• A strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students.
• Proven ability to raise achievement and promote a love of learning in Maths.
• A strategic thinker who is able to develop and implement long-term plans for the department.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for Maths and education, with a focus on making learning both accessible and enjoyable.
