Job Overview:We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Wythenshawe. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that inspire and challenge students.
- Assess, monitor, and record students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum, incorporating current educational trends and technology.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and professional development opportunities.
- Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant Humanities subject.
- Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level, with a track record of excellent classroom management and student engagement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A passion for the Humanities and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with current educational best practices and the ability to integrate technology into teaching.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with exam preparation and assessment for GCSE and A-Level courses.
- Participation in extracurricular activities related to Humanities, such as school trips or clubs.
