Maths teacher - Salford - Temp to Perm A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Salford. The role will be full time and will start as soon as possible. The role will be on a temp to perm basis, meaning you will initially be on supply via Prospero Teaching & then taken on a permanent contract via the school. The hours for this role are not your usual school hours, but are 11:30am - 6pm. The school has a very good reputation within the local community. It also has good transport links & there is a large on site car park. This position is full time and is open to ECTs as well as experienced Maths teachers. You will be required to become fully involved in the school & department, attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering engaging lessons, marking the work and providing feedback along the way. This role is open to ECTs as well as fully qualified teachers. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS: Location Salford Position Maths Teacher (KS3/4) Type of work Teaching Start date ASAP End date N/A Contract type Temp to perm Full time Minimum rate of pay from GBP162.31 per day Hours 11:30am 6pm Monday to Friday EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree educated with a good classification, preferably in Mathematics (however not essential to be Maths related) Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Maths Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference) Recent experience of teaching in a K Secondary School (which we can reference) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training) Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training) Up to date behaviour management training (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.80 Provide a minimum of two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
