Our client is looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in Didsbury, Manchester! Your role will involve:

  • Leading a small team of playworkers to provide high-quality childcare.
  • Creating an engaging environment that caters to the social, emotional, and physical needs of our pupils.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for parents and ensuring effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:Supervisory and Leadership:

  • Lead and support a small team of playworkers to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Create staff rotas and monitor the quality of care provided.
  • Identify training needs and support professional development.

Operations:

  • Oversee the daily running of the after-school club, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Ensure the environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Manage resources and maintain accurate attendance and accident reports.

Childcare:

  • Actively engage in and lead age-appropriate activities.
  • Foster creativity and social interaction through play.
  • Be a positive role model, promoting the school's values and behaviours.
  • Respond to incidents and address any concerns promptly.

Communication & Partnership:

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Professional Conduct and Development:

  • Participate in appraisal procedures and undertake relevant training.
  • Stay updated with current legislation and best practises.
  • Uphold the organisation's ethos and maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
