Are you an experienced and dynamic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on student outcomes? Our school is seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our dedicated team.

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education across multiple year groups. This role involves covering full classes, delivering core subject interventions, and helping to raise pupil attainment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils in reaching their full potential and be flexible enough to work across different key stages as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover full classes across different key stages (KS1, KS2, or both), ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Deliver targeted interventions in core subjects (Maths, English, etc.) to raise pupil attainment.
  • Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support to improve learning outcomes.
  • Adapt to different classroom settings, supporting both individuals and groups of pupils.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), or equivalent role, with a solid understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Experience in covering full classes and delivering core subject interventions.
  • A strong track record of raising pupil attainment through targeted support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to work across different key stages as required.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.
