Teaching Assistant
Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Position Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm (Starting ASAP)
Salary Range: £85-£95 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality educational experiences for students.
- Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Support students with special educational needs or additional learning needs, as required.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to support student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hold a Level L1 or higher in a Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
