Milk Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant Level 3 for a Secondary School in Urmstons to work on a long-term basis. This is a school, who prides itself on being nurturing and caring, with high standards of attainment and behaviour.

This Teaching Assistant Level 3 job will involve supporting the class teacher with the day to day running of the classroom and will be working with KS3 and KS4 students. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one to one basis as and when required. This may involve taking groups of children out of the class to support them with their learning on a group by group basis. This Teaching Assistant Level 3 job is full-time and the working hours will be 08:30am- 15:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 30 minute lunch break.

Teaching Assistant Level 3- Role & Responsibilities:

· Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children

· Support children consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

· Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans asappropriate

· Deliver catch-up sessions

Teaching Assistant Level 3- Non-negotiables:

· Level 3 In Supporting Teaching and Learning / Teaching Assistant Level 3

· Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, within the past two years

· Must have a passion for education

· Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher· Must be reliable and punctual
