The Role
Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Manager to oversee a team of Security Analysts, maintaining a strong security posture for both the company and its customers. Responsibilities include:
- Managing team development, performance, and resource planning
- Leading and coordinating incident response efforts
- Providing expert security advice and ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks
- Collaborating with external security providers to enhance protection
- Assisting with security certifications and regulatory requirements
About You
The ideal candidate is a skilled security professional with proven experience in team leadership and stakeholder management. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Expertise in SIEM, incident handling, and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with Microsoft security tools, scripting, and automation (PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with regulatory standards like Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO27001
- Previous exposure to the public sector and industry certifications (e.g., AZ-500, CompTIA Security+)
