My client are a leading civil engineering contractor based out of the Northwest. They are looking to onboard a junior engineer to join their engineering department. My client operate heavily across the North of England, delivering schemes across the civils, infrastructure and construction sectors.
Engineer responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying with Trimble/ Leica total station and GPS.
- Producing and recording As-built surveys.
- Quality assurance checks.
- Working alongside and reporting to senior engineer and engineering manager.
- RFI's.
- Liaising with the client and subcontractors on site.
- Health and safety compliance.
Engineer requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Degree or diploma in civil engineering or surveying.
- CSCS Card.
- 1-3 years experience on site.
- Full UK driving licence.
- IT literate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team.
