Key Role Descriptors:

  • Facilitate, supervise, and observe Contact visits, providing support and advice to children and parents.
  • Undertake observation and assessment of Supervised Contact visits.
  • Provide information and accurately record Contacts, monitoring the review action plan with the Social Worker.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Understand Child Protection procedures and MCC social work procedures.
  • Contribute to the assessment of child and family needs using the Assessment Framework.
  • Manage all aspects of Contact visits, resolving behavioural and emotional issues.
  • Ensure accurate and complete Child’s Contact Records.
  • Commit to continuous self-development and service improvement.
  • Promote diversity, ensuring equal access and treatment.

  • Current driving licence and use of a vehicle for transporting to and from family time.
