We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist a client with an acquired brain injury. The role involves supporting the client to access community and social activities, helping develop confidence and independence skills within the home, and assisting with budgeting skills to reduce the risk of social isolation.
Day-to-day of the role:- Support the client in accessing community and social activities.
- Assist in developing confidence and independence skills within the home environment.
- Help the client with budgeting skills and managing finances.
- Work to reduce the risk of social isolation by engaging the client in various activities.
- Provide intervention in managing time, maintaining structure, and routine.
- Support the client in remembering appointments and completing tasks.
- Play a crucial role in the client's rehabilitation process.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective therapy programmes.
- Must be a driver with business insurance.
- Experience in supporting individuals with brain injuries or similar conditions is preferred.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
