Manchester City Council's Kinship Fostering Team is seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete Regulation 24 assessments.
- Undertake court viability assessments.
- Prepare and deliver Form C assessments and SGO assessments.
- Provide supervision and support to kinship foster carers, ensuring the best outcomes for children.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with experience in fostering or kinship care.
- Strong assessment and analytic skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
