Overview

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an new provider to help recruit for a Registered Manager to oversee their brand-new Residential service due to open in Rusholme, Greater Manchester. The new service will be able to support up to 3 adults with learning disabilities and any associated complex needs. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience within a management position with previous CQC registration, with exposure to learning disabilities.

The Candidate

As the Registered Manager, you will be reporting into the Company Director, and you will have full responsibility for managing the brand-new service including recruiting a full staff team, setting up systems across the service and ensuring a comfortable transition for service users when the service opens.

As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations of the service, including the leadership and management of the staffing team and continuous collaboration with the Company Director. You will oversee the efficient delivery and development of the service whilst ensuring the service users receive the best care. You will possess a deep working knowledge of health and social care, and you will also be required to have strong people management and communication skills, as well as sound commercial understanding.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience working within a residential setting
  • Background of working with adults with autism and learning disabilities
  • Knowledge of the CQC / KLOES / regulations
  • Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
  • Clear DBS

Location

This role is based in Rusholme, Greater Manchester and is commutable from Manchester City Centre, Stockport, Stretford, Salford, and Ashton-under-Lyne.
