Our client is a local authority based in the Greater Manchester area, looking for experienced Social Workers to join their busy Children Locality Team.

The team is currently working on the Family Safeguarding model, aiming for caseloads to stay below 20 per worker. Currently, the highest caseload in the team is 19, and the environment emphasizes maintaining manageable workloads.

Working Conditions & Flexibility:

  • Hybrid Working: A hybrid setup is in place, with flexibility offered. While the expectation is full-time availability across five days, a 9-day fortnight could be considered.

  • Flexible Arrangements: A condensed four-day week isn't preferred, but flexibility in work schedules and hybrid working is available.
