Randstad is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Assessment and Intervention Team. This full-time role offers an attractive pay rate of £39 per hour.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective services to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at various stages of their journey
  • Have strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Children's social care legislation, regulations, and guidance
  • Manage duty and complex caseloads
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver effective planning for children and families
  • Represent the Council at meetings, proceedings, and reviews as required
  • Take referrals from MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub)
  • Complete assessments and Child in Need interventions

Requirements:

  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Experience working with children
