Job Title: Neighbourhood Social Worker
Location: Greater Manchester
Hourly Rate: 30-35 (depending on experience)

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting 2 Neighbourhood Social Workers to join an Integrated Neighbourhood team. These roles are vital to supporting adults in need across the community. You'll play an important part in safeguarding and improving the quality of life for vulnerable adults.

Key Requirements:

Experience: At least 2 years' experience working within a Statutory Adults Service.
Skills: Strong understanding and application of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures.
Court Work: You will need some experience in court-related duties.
General Case Management: Your caseload will be approximately 20 cases, depending on complexity, including a duty function on a rota basis.


Role Details:

Base: 50% office-based, with the flexibility of working from home or in the field the rest of the time.
Working Hours: Core hours are 8:30 am to 4:45 pm.
Responsibilities: You will engage in comprehensive case management, contribute to safeguarding efforts, and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure adults receive proper care and protection.


What We're Looking For:

Care Act, Mental Capacity Act & Safeguarding Experience: You should be confident in handling these frameworks within your daily practice.
Court Experience: Knowledge of and participation in court work as part of statutory services.
Team Player: You will contribute to the team's duty function on a rota basis.
Flexible and Committed: Adaptability and a proactive approach are essential in managing varied and complex caseloads.
