NonStop Care are working with a well-established local authority who are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join a Learning Disability & Autism Team based in the Northwest. Within this role you'll play key role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live independent, fulfilling lives.

Requirements:

?? Is registered with Social Work England

?? Has experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism

Role Responsibilities:

? Assess the care and support needs of individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.

? Work closely with individuals, families, and carers to develop personalised support plans that promote independence and well-being.

? Collaborate with health, education, and voluntary sector partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.

? Prepare court reports and present cases in legal proceedings, particularly relating to the Court of Protection and safeguarding matters.

? Support young people in transition to adulthood and independent living.

? Manage a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate records and professional reports.
