We are seeking an experienced Head of Development with strong people skills to lead and inspire our Digital Team.
The role offers a salary range of £85-£95k and is based in Manchester.
Candidates should have previous experience in a Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, or CTO role.
Key responsibilities include managing digital team members, overseeing QA teams, and collaborating with other senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards challenges and multi-tasking.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Development, with great people skills, to manage, inspire and challenge a Digital Team to perform to the best of their abilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to take our Development team forward, now only through the hands on Code the produce, but also the mentorship, vision and strategy they implement for the Development team. Role: Head of Software DevelopmentSalary £85-£95kLocation: ManchesterRole and responsibilities:

To effectively manage members of our digital teams. Front end (JavaScript - React) and Backend (PHP-Laravel).
Overseeing and supporting the QA Teams within the organisation.
Work with other senior members (Creative Director, Head of Product, Head of Devivery) of the organisation to achieve our mutualy desired outcomes
To identify areas of growth for individuals, hold one-to-one catch-ups with team members, and set objectives moving forward.
To encourage and create opportunities for members of the team to utilize their specialist skillsets/areas to maximum effectiveness.

Skills/Experience:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive attitude towards challenging situations and multi-tasking.
The ability to lead and make key business decisions
Experience in a Tech Lead, Head of Engineering, Or CTO role previously
