Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (.NET)
Location: Manchester/100% Remote
Salary: up to 80,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, specialising in .NET and has worked with development teams throughout the full development lifecycle. The successful candidate should be either based in Manchester, or 100% remotely; and will be happy to travel to Hull and Customer sites when needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To continuously improve your skills by keeping up to date with the latest technologies, especially the .NET framework.
- An understanding of TDD, BDD and other software engineering practices to deliver high quality code.
- An ability to mentor, as well as having the ability to coach more junior developers within the team.
- An ability to liaise with team members outside of development, to refine complex requirements.
- Some experience of Android, iOS, web and server-side development and Desktop development.
- The clients tech stack is:
- PHP (Laravel), .NET (all frameworks), React.js/Angular.js/Vue.js, MSSQL, Azure Cloud and MySQL.
The Candidate
- Familiar with the Agile philosophy.
- The ability to prioritise workloads, as well as managing to deliver high quality code.
- Willingly take ownership and responsibility
