Automation Engineer / Tester - Mobile

A brand-new role to be part of a pioneering company that has been at the forefront of delivering data solutions for over a decade.
We're searching for a skilled Automation Test Engineer (with experience across mobile testing) to join their engineering team and take ownership of automating the testing of applications across various platforms (mainly mobile), ensuring quality, performance, and data integrity.
The RoleThe role is integral to developing and maintaining robust automation practices. You'll lead by example, supporting the Automation Engineers and ensuring the software meets the highest standards. Your contributions will include writing and executing automation scripts, analysing results, and producing thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test suites for mobile, web, and desktop applications.
- Analyse and document test data outputs, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and user experience professionals.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Create reports on test outcomes and manage test script maintenance.
About YouWe seek an experienced professional with:
- Advanced knowledge of test automation frameworks and practices.
- Proficiency with various operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows).
- ISTQB Foundation Test certification.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and serverless frameworks.
- Experience with Python
- Previous experience of automating processes within a DevOps environment and any exposure to Device Farm would be highly desirable.
