Reeson Education is partnering with a dedicated SEN school in M35 Manchester to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant. This full-time role involves working within a through provision, supporting children aged 5 to 16 with a wide range of needs, including SEMH, ASD, SPD, SPLD, MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and behavioral challenges.

Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to children with diverse learning needs.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist with individual education plans (IEPs) and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to ensure effective support.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students, offering guidance and encouragement.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
  • A passion for working with children with SEN.
  • Commitment to full-time hours and consistency for the students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience in an SEN or similar educational setting (preferred but not essential).
