Randstad is hiring for a school in Manchester and is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS is mandatory(If you do not have a DBS on the update service you must be willing to apply for a new one).
  • Experience working in the UK with SEN children or young people.
  • No sponsorship provided, applicants must already have the right to work(RTW) in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and learning styles.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting student's educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support to SEN students in the classroom.
  • Assist teachers with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans, safeguarding the student.
  • Recognising student's needs with their learning and ensuring the classroom is a safe learning environment.
  • Monitor and contribute to student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
