About The Role:As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a range of learning needs, physical and emotional, ensuring they get the best out of their learning and play. You will help set up lessons, implement personalised learning strategies, and provide one-to-one or small-group interventions to students, bearing their specific needs in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN needs in both individual and group settings.
  • Assist with planning and delivering learning activities.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide personal care and support for students as required.
  • Ensure each student gets the best learning out of each school day.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience working with SEN Children.
  • Level 1 - Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude.

All candidates must have:

  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • 2 professional references
