About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:

As a SEN Teaching assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to a Year 2 child with mild learning difficulties and social-emotional challenges.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies that promote the child's academic, social, and emotional development.
Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help the pupil thrive.
Monitor and record the child's progress, providing feedback to relevant staff and parents.

Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Understanding of strategies to support children with learning difficulties and social-emotional needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable.
