We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team at a school in Didsbury, Manchester.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a UK school setting: A minimum of 6 months experience is required.
  • Experience working with children with complex educational needs: Demonstrated success in supporting students with a wide range of needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to build strong relationships with children and colleagues.
  • Commitment to professional development: A desire to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.

Essential:

  • Full availability: 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
  • DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK: No sponsorship is provided.

  • Supporting children with complex educational needs: You will work closely with our specialist teachers and support staff to provide individualised learning and care for students with diverse needs.
  • Promoting a positive learning environment: You will foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and supported to learn and thrive.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: You will work effectively with other teaching and support staff to ensure the smooth delivery of the curriculum.
