SEN Practitioner - Moston, Manchester.

Educate GM’s partner school in Moston, Manchester is looking for an experienced SEN Practitioner to join their school. The perfect candidate for the role will be someone who has a great passion for working with children and making a difference.

About the SEN Practitioner Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with a range of different special educational needs. We are looking for someone who has experience working with SEN and finds joy in this rewarding role.

The role is full-time, for the full academic year and will commence ASAP. This great role will pay £90-£100 a day, (depending on experience).

The Head Teacher for this Primary School seeks someone with patience and enthusiasm and support each child to reach their true potential. Exceptional communication skills are necessary. You will also be required to support the class teacher in daily classroom tasks such as delivering group interventions, setting up daily resources, and attending school trips. The school is passionate about high standards and working as part of a team. The school encourages staff development and there are always opportunities to grow your skills as a teaching assistant.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Teaching Assistant Qualification or working towards one
  • Experience working with SEN children
  • Experience in a UK school
  • Experience in delivering interventions is desirable
  • Caring and enthusiastic personality
  • Patience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A passion for helping children thrive
  • Great behaviour management

All candidates must have:

  • A valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS)
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, and any employment breaks must be explained.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
