The Damp & Mould Surveyor will play a crucial role in the Property department of a Not For Profit organisation. They will be responsible for surveying properties, identifying issues and recommending effective solutions.

Description

  • Conduct thorough surveys of properties to identify damp and mould issues.
  • Provide detailed reports on property conditions and necessary repairs.
  • Recommend effective solutions to address damp and mould problems.
  • Work closely with the Property department to ensure that all properties meet safety standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organisation's property management processes.
  • Assist in the training of new team members, if required.

Profile

A successful Damp & Mould Surveyor should have:

  • A strong understanding of building surveying, particularly related to damp and mould.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with both residents and colleagues.
  • Experience in the Not For Profit sector, ideally within property management.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in all work.
