  • Lead, develop, influence, and implement our client's sourcing & sustainability strategy.
  • Accountable for providing strategic leadership and direction for sustainability, quality, and technical functions on a global scale, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders as well as strategic partners to generate innovative ideas, solutions, and methods that support our growth and enhance our brand credentials.
  • Support the senior leadership team in delivering an integrated sustainability strategy, demonstrating progress and ingenuity against strategic objectives and performance indicators.
  • Responsible for all corporate sustainability (environmental and social) aspects of the function, ensuring compliance with all UK and EU statutory regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the packaging team, ensuring actions align with the sustainability strategy.
  • Oversee the function, recruiting, selecting, and supporting team members, while managing performance by setting objectives, conducting reviews, and providing performance coaching with clear and constructive feedback in regular one-to-ones, and agreeing on training and development plans accordingly.
  • Accountable for the effective governance and execution of the Sustainability and Digital Fit strategy across the business.
  • Ensure the team identifies and manages potential risks to deliver products that are legal and safe, while achieving customer satisfaction through appropriate processes, data collation, and analysis of customer feedback, driving a measurable programme of continuous improvement and sales growth.
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse and refine business processes, working practices, and supplier communications, aiming to create opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced costs, and shorter lead times, while enhancing speed to market and eliminating duplication without compromising our standards.
  • Measure, review, and manage the performance and compliance of Suppliers and Service Providers to support the Sourcing Strategy.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the group, including operational and capital expenditure costs, in line with agreed business budgets and business/group KPIs.
