This is a great opportunity to join a specialist sustainability consultancy who provide highly technical services to the commercial and residential sectors. They are on the lookout for an OCDEA who has experience producing Energy statements and assessments for construction projects.

Key responsibilities for an OCDEA include:

  • Carry out a large amount of SAP assessments and EPCs to ensure clients projects comply with Part L
  • Ensure the deliverance of EPC's are met within strict deadlines
  • Provision of highly technical consultancy and written reports for planning stages of projects to ensure requirements are met
  • Work alongside the client and design team so that sustainability requirements during a project's development lifecycle are met

An OCDEA will need:

  • An OCDEA Qualification through a credible accreditation scheme
  • Relevant experience in an energy assessor role producing Part L SAP assessments
  • Strong working knowledge of UK Building regulations such as Part L
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
