The Role: Reporting to the Head of Sustainability Operations you will be a key influencer in our construction business. You will be at the forefront of implementing our sustainability objectives, leading a multi-disciplinary team of sustainability, environmental, and social value experts. The roles will support and work from either our Northern or Midlands regions and will require some travel to meet customers and project teams within your region.

In this key role, you will:

  • Foster Business Growth by ensuring that our sustainability and social value approach responds to customer need, differentiates Willmott Dixon and is embedding in our growth plans. You will also support our work winning teams. ·
  • Champion Change by aligning best practice social value and sustainability approaches to harness the benefits of a holistic approach to ethical business practices both in your region and across the business.
  • Build Relationships both inside and outside the company. Working closely with our senior leaders, regional boards, and teams across the business to drive delivery. Also building strong connections with external stakeholders including industry leaders, customers and our supply chain partners.
  • Inspire and Lead your dedicated multi-disciplinary team to deliver operational excellence. Increase our people's and our supply chain partner's sustainability knowledge and skills to ensure clarity of expectation and excellence in sustainability and social value delivery.
  • Drive Performance and consistency through KPIs and data analysis, identifying opportunities to mitigate risk, ensure efficient delivery and accelerate delivery against company and customer sustainability goals.

What We're Looking For:

A motivated self-starter with a strategic vision and operational focus. You'll have:

  • Proven experience in delivering successful sustainability and social value projects.
  • Strong leadership and influence with stakeholders, customers, and senior leaders.
  • Agility to enable flexibility between leadership and hands on support when business demands require.
  • Expertise in KPI management, reporting, and customer-centred sustainability planning.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
