Due to increased demand, they are offering an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to their success.About the RoleAs a Tail Lift Fitter, you will play a vital role in the installation and fitting of tail lifts to vehicles, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.Skilled and Semi-Skilled Tail Lift Fitters Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and fitting of various tail lift systems, including DEL, D'Hollandia, and Palfinger.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Accurate fitting processes, including cut-outs and mounting ancillary parts.
• Electrical wiring installation and hydraulic connections.
• Testing tail lifts and documenting test results for certification.
• Problem-solving, fault finding, and making necessary adjustments.
• Mounting and connecting auxiliary lights.
• Maintaining high safety standards and excellent housekeeping.

Experience Required:

• Proven mechanical fitting experience in an engineering or commercial vehicle environment.
• Tail lift fitting experience, including column, cantilever, and tuckaway systems.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Competence in safe and efficient tool handling.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
