Cosmetic Repair Technician
- Salary: Up to £45,000.00 dependent on experience
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 45 hours per week. (Hours to be discussed)
- Annual Leave: 29 days including public holidays, rising with service
Cosmetic Repair Technician required for Automotive Accident Repair Centres in the Manchester area.
Our Client is an Automotive Accident Repair Centres with an excellent reputation and they are currently seeking a Cosmetic Repair Technician to join their team of busy bodyshop professionals.
Our client requires an efficient and professional Cosmetic Repair Technician.
Typical duties as a Cosmetic Repair Technician for our client include:
- Performing cosmetic repairs such as dent removal, paint touch ups and scratch removal.
- Preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint using various techniques.
- Inspecting completed repairs to make sure the meet company standards.
- Blending and matching paint colours to ensure a seamless finish.
Requirements for this Cosmetic Repair Technician role
- A level 3 in Body Repairs is desirable. (Paint, Panel or MET)
- Previous experience in working a similar role.
- Confident and able to perform cosmetic and body repairs on panels, doors and bumpers
- Able to mix and blend paints
- Experience in working on accident damaged vehicles.
