Are you a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and a passion for elevating product standards? As a Quality Engineer, you’ll be a core member of the QEHS Management team, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards and maintaining high-quality products that exceed both customer and legislative expectations. You’ll lead quality control initiatives, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions that drive continuous improvement across the board. Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System: Ensure the QMS is ISO9001-compliant and supports customer and legislative requirements.
  • Project Collaboration: Work in cross-functional teams on new product development and product changes to keep quality and compliance top-notch.
  • Quality KPIs: Track and report quality KPIs during project phases, backing them with clear evidence to meet project goals.
  • Root Cause & Corrective Action: Manage non-conformances and quality concerns from end to end. Use 8D problem-solving methods to identify root causes and drive effective corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the quality point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams, swiftly addressing quality issues and ensuring everyone stays aligned.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in processes that support the business improvement agenda.
  • Training & Communication: Lead quality-related training sessions and deliver toolbox talks to keep teams informed and engaged in quality initiatives.
  • Audit Management: Schedule and conduct internal audits, manage corrective actions, and ensure customer certifications are up-to-date.
  • Health, Safety, & Environmental Compliance: Adhere to and uphold all company policies to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Engineering Expertise: Proficiency in engineering drawings and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Quality Standards: Hands-on experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards and a track record in an ISO-compliant setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong root cause analysis skills with experience in 8D, Cause and Effect diagrams, 5 Whys, and Pareto analysis.
  • Organisational Savvy: Excellent administrative skills and a meticulous approach to detail.
  • Inspection Knowledge: Familiarity with inspection processes and tools to ensure compliance and quality consistency.
