We are looking to recruit a Regional Manager to join their growing operations and maintenance team covering North Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, and Derbyshire.

Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the Senior Technical Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of technical staff, including conducting performance appraisals, handling disciplinary procedures, and overseeing staffing needs.
  • Ensure optimal performance of solar PV plants, monitor plant performance, and maintain site appearance across the assigned region.
  • Support the field teams with scheduled and corrective maintenance works, including HV maintenance, and provide training, coaching, and guidance to technicians.
  • Take a lead in maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, working closely with the HSE Manager and Senior Technical Operations Manager to ensure compliance and safety across all sites.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new field staff.
  • Assist the O&M Coordinator with the planning and scheduling of works, inventory management, and ensuring that all PPE, vehicles, and equipment are available and maintained.
  • Participate in the company's on-call rota for non-working hours (including weekends and bank holidays).



Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • 18th Edition / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
  • HV Trained (evidence required via personal switching log book).
  • At least 3 years' experience working on utility-scale solar farms in an O&M or project role.
  • Experience with key inverter manufacturers such as SMA, ABB, or Power Electronics.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification is preferred.
  • Line management experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK.
