We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team on an agency basis for deliveries across Mansfield and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver building materials to local construction sites and trade customers.
- Load and unload materials at delivery points, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with scheduled routes.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any issues to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence.
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- Previous experience in a driving role, preferably in a construction or builders merchant environment.
- Knowledge of Mansfield and surrounding areas is beneficial.
- Good communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to safety.
