Working in the field sales team, you'll develop existing customer relationships and increase market share for our AE Industrial operation in the East Midlands area.

Your role:

  • Develop relationships with existing customers to increase revenue with value-added sales and services.

  • Build and nurture new business to increase market share, by leveraging our excellent service team and market-leading product range.

  • Undertake proposals, including pricing, to close sales and win service contracts.

  • Support sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation to achieve targets.

  • Support the sales through undertaking site surveys and providing technical advice to both existing and potential customers.

  • Be the face of the business to your customers, ensuring consistent communication with sales and service teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.

  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of sales reports, including your quote pipeline.

  • Support project-based sales to grow key accounts in your area.

  • You will report to the Regional Manager.

The person we are looking for has….

  • Required
    • Proven capital or service sales experience in an industrial environment.

    • You have an eagerness to grow and learn within your role.

    • Ability to organise own schedule and operate mostly independently.

    • A full UK driving licence is preferred clean (no endorsements, points or penalties).

    • A digital mindset with an ability to learn and leverage IT systems.

    • You maintain good relationships and the ability to collaborate with our teams and external partners.

    • Technical understanding through qualification or equivalent experience.

  • Desirable
    • Experience or knowledge of the compressed air industry
    • Understanding of basic sales financials (revenue, margins and profitability)
    • Experience with one or more advanced customer relationship management (CRM) systems
