- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, merchants, and small contractors.
- Meet and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities within the distributor and merchant segments.
- Conduct regular visits to clients, providing product presentations and sales support.
- Record all sales activities and client interactions within the company’s CRM system.
- Offer accurate quotations and support clients with their enquiries.
- Deliver monthly reports summarising key activities, market insights, and performance.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions.
- Adhere to company policies and operational guidelines.
- Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within distribution or merchant channels in the construction sector.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software to track and manage customer data effectively.
- Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
- Understanding of sales strategy and performance analysis.
- Full UK driving licence.
