This fantastic client is seeking a highly organised and motivated Sales Administrator to join their team in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This dual-purpose role will split responsibilities evenly between administration and sales support. As a Sales Administrator, you will assist in managing the sales process while ensuring the smooth flow of administrative tasks. You will be responsible for supporting the sales team, processing orders, maintaining customer databases, and handling day-to-day administrative duties to ensure the business runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including data entry and document management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Assist with filing, organising documents, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Handle general office duties such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, and supporting internal communications.
  • Process purchase orders, delivery notes, and other documentation as required.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office and office systems.

Sales Support

  • Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts and processing orders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Prepare and send quotes, proposals, and invoices to customers.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Help maintain and update the sales database and CRM system.
  • Process sales orders, track order status, and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales reports and analysis.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales administrator or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude toward both sales and administrative tasks.
