  About the Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the successful launch and day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the highest standard of care for children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This role is ideal for an ambitious Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking to make a significant impact in a growing service.

  Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Support:

    • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a new team of Support Workers.
    • Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and staff supervisions.
    • Foster a positive, therapeutic, and structured environment for young people.
  • Care & Safeguarding:

    • Ensure the safety, well-being, and personal development of young people with EBD.
    • Implement and oversee individual care plans and behaviour management strategies.
    • Work collaboratively with social workers, families, and external agencies.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Support the Registered Manager in meeting Ofsted requirements.
    • Ensure all safeguarding, care planning, and risk management protocols are followed.
    • Monitor and contribute to the continuous improvement of the home.
