IT Support Technician

Our Client is a single source supplier of performance its and architectural ironmongery providing high quality products ideally suited to the health, education, commercial, defence, office fit-out and high-end residential markets.

With over 150 years of combined management experience within the ironmongery industry, they have invested more than £8m to create two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities based in the East Midlands. These two modern bright facilities provide over 100,000sqft of manufacturing space and have been designed to feature 'all-new' high-efficiency processing centres including the latest in CNC engineering, high precision through feed cutting equipment, a state of the art and environmentally friendly door finishing plant together with the latest in post-forming technology allowing us to wrap both high impact PVC's and laminates to doors and frames alike.

Responsibilities:

· Manage Helpdesk tickets, prioritising and resolving all issues with the team.

· Setup and configure all new computer hardware.

· Setup and maintain user accounts and permissions through AD.

· Setup and maintain user email accounts through Office 365.

· Aid the team with any new infrastructure installations, such as Servers/Switches and routers etc.

· Maintain all company IT documents such as Asset register.

· Ensure that all users are adhering to company policies.

Requirements:

· Access to own vehicle.

· Willingness to learn.

· Adaptable to changing circumstances and demands.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel as this is heavily used.

· Knowledge of Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Windows server 2016 and above

· Good problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of infrastructure setups would be advantageous.

· Previous experience in a helpdesk environment is necessary.
