Orbital Recruitmentare currently seeking a highly organised and detail-orientedClaims Administratorfor our client based inMansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone withclaims and administrative experiencewho thrives in a high-pressure environment. As aClaims Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and delivering excellent service to clients by managing a range of administrative tasks.

Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to assist with the management of the end-to-end process for new and existing work, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and achieving set KPIs and SLAs. Your role will ensure accurate recording and progression of jobs, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone callsprofessionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when interacting with both clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain an organised filing system, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
  • Perform clerical duties such astyping, data entry, and managing correspondenceto ensure smooth office operations.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointmentsfor various departments and team members.
  • Support variousadministrative tasksas required by management to ensure efficiency across the business.
  • Producedaily work sheets and documentationneeded for site visits.
  • Liaise with external providersto schedule appointments for electricians and surveyors.
  • Follow procedures for handlingunrestorable/BER itemsand ensure compliance with recycling guidelines.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strongorganisational skillsand attention to detail.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft OfficeandSalesforce.
  • Excellent typing skills with a focus onaccuracy.
  • Strongadministrative skillswith a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to performdata entry efficientlywhile maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Effectivecommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • Previousclaims experienceand a proven track record of administrative work, especially dealing withhigh-stress environments.
  • The ability to handlecomplaints empathetically and sympathetically, ensuring that clients feel valued even in high-pressure situations.

Working Environment:
