About them:

My client is a well-established, global trader operating from a multi million pound premises in the Mansfield area of Nottingham. They are a family owned business with solid values and many of their workforce stay at the company for the whole of their career.

The role:

Working in collaboration with the in-house design studios to create and deliver a variety of marketing solutions for both internal and external audiences. Creating and developing creative ideas and copy to support product launches and marketing campaigns. To respond to any marketing related requests and enquiries.

Key Duties for the Senior Marketing Executive

Copywriting

  • Creative copywriting and proof-reading for brochures, press releases, customer letters, sales literature, presentations, websites and newsletters
  • From initial discussions to product launch, brand and collection copy is developed to fit with the individual brands and their latest launch, including selling point documents and brochure copy.
  • To produce copy for any ad hoc marketing material as and when required by the business
  • To work in collaboration with the design studios and wider marketing team to develop ideas and copy for eblasts ensuring these are accurately set up on the system and sent out to customers
  • Working with the design studios and patterning department to check technical information, ensuring the selling point documents have correct information.

Marketing

  • To work in collaboration with the design studios to develop concepts for creative marketing campaigns to complement each launch, including design ideas for promotional material, working in both printed and digital media
  • Ensuring websites are up to date with current news stories, creating gallery images and correcting collections
  • Liaising with external printers and suppliers to ensure items are produced to highest possible quality, within set timescales and budget
  • To work in collaboration with the design studios to ensure all products are categorised and colour named
  • Providing a timely and efficient image request service to agents and suppliers
  • Using internal systems to provide email reporting
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the department

Social Media

  • To create, develop and maintain interesting and engaging content and copy for social media platforms actively promoting our brands
  • To respond to any questions or enquiries

Person Specification for Senior Marketing Executive:

  • Great communication skills, with outstanding English language, written and spoken
  • Excellent creative writing abilities
  • Innovative and creative thinker with a strong visual sense
  • Detail orientated with a flexible attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and a high-level of accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Educated to degree level with proven marketing experience
  • IT competent with the ability to use Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Outgoing and friendly with a creative flair
  • Active interest in interior design or textiles
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

Other Information:

  • The core hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm - with flexibility on either side of this.
