- Payroll production of monthly and weekly Payrolls using Workday
- Compliance with the Group’s Policies and procedures
- Pensions Automatic Enrolment
- Process new hires and terminations
- Processing absences including SSP, SAP, SMP, SPP ShPP
- Reviewing exception reporting to identify anomalies
- Effective liaison with HR Administrators, Line Managers, Regional Finance, internal third-party Benefits Administrators (Pensions GAYE, Payroll Giving, Cycle to Work), external third-party benefits providers and HMRC
- Answering pay and related queries from staff, HMRC and other relevant bodies by phone, email and letter
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-volume payroll processing environment
- Experience in using Workday payroll software essential
- An understanding and experience of running healthcare payrolls
- In-depth knowledge of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, SAP etc.
- Good working knowledge of MS products such as Excel, Word etc.
