Job Details: As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, environmental, and health and safety compliance. You will follow established processes to perform quality assurance checks, measurements, and investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Quality Checks: Ensure products meet contract requirements and compliance standards.
- Select and inspect samples from the production process.
- Measure products and analyse against operator documentation.
- Instruct the reproduction of products if standards are not met.
- Record and document all quality checks for traceability.
- Support Investigations: Help resolve customer complaints effectively.
- Inspect operational areas for any discrepancies.
- Conduct Symptoms Causes Remedies Actions (SCRA) investigations for deviations.
- Assist in quality-related training interventions with production and contracts teams.
- Enhance Traceability and Quality
- Gather process documentation for traceability.
- Undertake shop floor audits to ensure proper labelling.
- Contribute to internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure operators utilise appropriate testing and measuring equipment.
- Regularly check machine calibrations for performance standards.
Technical Competencies Needed
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required
A strong Advantage: ARMA, PDIS, Therefore, CRM, Asite, and Fieldview.
