Your new company

Hays Education is working with a wonderful school in North Nottinghamshire who is looking for a SEND TA / Teacher to join their team as soon as possible!

Your new role

You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a student who is not yet 'classroom ready' to aid their cognitive and social development alongside their curriculum knowledge. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday commencing as soon as you are compliant.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a SEND TA in a SEND school setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEND and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in SEND education.
